Leaves by Jean Hutchins at Imagekind

Leaves by Jean Hutchins
Today's featured artwork is Leaves by Jean Hutchins. This photo is almost abstract in nature. Here we see light passing through brown, reddish, and green leaves. The effect is impressive and I think it would make a beautiful medium print on any nature lovers wall or for someone who likes to decorate with neutral colors and minimalism.

Today's featured artwork is Himalayan Blue Poppy by Byron Varvarigos.
The amazing transparency caused by light shining through the upper petals contrasting with the lower right petals of this close up flower photo really impressed me.  I had never heard of a himalayan blue poppy before, but this one is great.

Spirit in the Mist by Steve Mitchell
Today's featured artwork is Spirit in the Mist by Steve Mitchell at Imagekind. In this painting we have a close up humming bird. It is very soft with blue, yellow, and peach tones surrounded by a sea of blue. The hummingbird has its wings spread in flight and it is glorious with soft lost edges.

Daffodils by Iris Greenwell at Imagekind

Daffodils by Iris Greenwell

Today's featured art is Daffodils by Iris Greenwell. These white and yellow daffodils seem very carefree and they speak to be of the wild energy of spring in colder climates as they take over a garden or naturalized lawn.  The image gives me a sense of nostalgia of my missed youth.

French Mallow Featured Photo by Melissa Hamilton at Imagekind

French Mallow by Melissa Hamilton

Melissa Hamilton is new to Imagekind, but She's been selling on Zazzle for quite a while. I believe I have one of her stores featured on the "Gifts" page sidebar.
I've been enjoying her photography at IK, and this one really called out to me. I love flowers and floral photography so I was excited to see that M. Hamilton had flowers too! I hope you enjoy these simple purple flowers and green leaves.

Floral Splendor Rhododendron by Jennie Marie Schell at Imagekind

Floral Splendor Rhododendron by Jennie Marie Schell

Today's featured artwork, Floral Splendor Rhododendron, by Jennie Marie Schell is a lovely close up of a cluster of rhododendron flowers. This macro has great shades of pink, mauve, cream, and white. The photo is very powerful in intensity even though the colors and petals are delicate.  I think this would make a great greeting card.

Summer Breeze Martini Featured Artwork by Michael Creese

Summer Breeze Martini by Michael Creese

Today's featured artwork is Summer Breeze Martini by Michael Creese. This oil painting really speaks to me because of its bold and relaxing color combination. Only the red of the cherry is a warm color while the blue, green, and purple are cool. The martini glass is clearly defined while yet the background has messy strokes bringing the glass more into focus.
